How to make a yogurt marinade

Yogurt is a great marinade because it tenderizes meat and is super yummy.

Get your meat ready and cleaned.

Mix the spices in a bowl and began massaging them onto the meat so it absorbed
the flavours.

Try elaborate spice mixes or go simple with a bit of fresh chopped garlic or maybe greek oregano too!

If you're thinking of marinating all night then hold back on the salts as it pulls water out and you don't want that.

At this point you can add your yogurt and mix it up well, cover and store in the fridge until you're ready to grill/cook it.

When we think yogurt marinades we think indian and here is a great recipe for tandoori tender chicken.

Tandoori Chicken
Chicken breasts marinated overnight in yogurt, a tandoori spice mix, fresh garlic and ginger. Moist and tender guaranteed! Little yogurt mint sauce on the site and a roti.

Grill the chicken, pan fry or bake. Very fast and simple, all the prep work is done ahead and flavours marry in your fridge overnight.

Another great recipe is shawarma and here is a fabulous ones to try.
