Kebobs

Kebobs

Good sirloin beef steak, cut in big pieces to fit on skewer.

Lemon juice

Greek oregano

Olive oil

Salt

Put the pieces of meat in a bowl, sprinkle some lemon juice over (fresh squeezed lemon) Salt, and greek oregano.

Cover and let marinade for 10 mins or so while heating up the grill or BBQ.

*If using skewers made of wood soak them in water at this point.

Drizzle olive oil onto the meat and mix to coat. Now begin skewering the meat onto the pre-soaked wood skewers or metal skewers.

Grill for a few minutes on each side until browned but still light pink inside.

Enjoy with pita or any sides.

Basic Cream Sauce

Basic Cream Sauce:

4 tbsp. butter
2 cup milk
1/4 cup flour

In a pan melt butter, add flour over medium high heat. Mix until mixture looks like dough - "roux". Slowly add milk stirring rapidly. Cook until mixture is same texture, add more milk, continue until thickness desired.

Great recipe for Swedish meatballs, using the fats from the baked meatballs add the flour and mix it around over the heat then add the milk.

Also a mushroom cream pasta or a seafood cream pasta (shrimp/lobster)

Basic recipe for Mac & Cheese too, add your favourite cheeses grated and allow to melt before tossing with pasta.
